I Cheater Slicks sono il gruppo perdente per antonomasia, i peggiori di ogni tempo, per me ovviamente i migliori. Il gruppo non si è mai venduto, anche perché non poteva vendersi in questo mondo di ruock da salottino-bene, loro sono sempre stati diversi, un esempio da seguire per chi decidesse di iniziare a suonare come se non ci fosse un domani. Nel corso della loro lunga carriera hanno sempre omaggiato il r’n’r primordiale portandolo ad estreme conseguenze con i loro suoni e la loro attitudine distruttiva. Sono quasi due ore di musica, canzoni bellissime di gruppi garage psichedelici oscuri anni 60/70 ma anche di band che hanno fatto la storia del r’n’r .
